How might we design a road map for Washington schools, where every learner, regardless of zip code, is on a pathway to productive citizenship? Where high wage employment and economic mobility intertwine with a purpose-driven life? It starts with curating, connecting and catalyzing the development of New Pathways and we can’t do it without you.
Getting Smart, alongside American Student Assistance (ASA), Tacoma Public Schools, and Puget Sound ESD is exploring how access is expanded and personalized, how learning can be guided and supported, and how new capabilities are captured and communicated because when well implemented, these advances will unlock opportunities for all and narrow the equity gap. We are starting in Washington State in order to highlight some of the incredible work already underway and to spotlight and facilitate the immense opportunities remaining.
