Authors cover developments in research, technology, entrepreneurs, methods and more to bring its readers some of the most fascinating and innovative strategies around education today.

Getting Smart accepts guest articles and blog posts relevant to current news and events as well as topics listed in its publication and editorial calendar at any time. Below we have requested feature articles but will accept wide variety of articles at any time so long as the content is relevant to current news, the editorial calendar and Getting Smart.

April | Next Gen Thinking in Schools Since we are attending ASU+ GSV Summit Innovation and looking into Next Generation advisory practices, posts can focus on Next Gen school models, how advisory is changing and the notion of scalability, in general. April is Math and Autism Awareness month, so we’ll also focus in on those.

May | High Standards for All Students

Posts can encompass how teachers, administrators, schools and districts have started to integrate  standards, more specifically the Common Core standards, and what results are obvious at the end of the year.

Posts can encompass avoiding summer slide for teachers and students. We will feature some posts about new tools to learn during the summer and education focused book reviews in order to create a recommended summer reading list for teachers.
