Link Sharing Policy
Link Exchange & Sharing Policy
Getting Smart® seeks to build mutually supportive relationships with its Advocacy Partners, guest bloggers, and affiliate websites by allowing links back to websites or original works that are relevant to Getting Smart, it’s content, and its readers. However, Getting Smart does not accept guest blogs from authors whose sole purpose is link sharing. Our guest blogs are reserved for dedicated education writers, leaders and advocates. Getting Smart reserves the right to refuse content and remove links and bios from submitted posts.
Blogroll or Listed Links
Getting Smart allows websites and blogs to list Getting Smart in a blogroll or similar list. In doing so, Getting Smart is not responsible for the content published on a website that displays a link back to Getting Smart. Getting Smart reserves the right to ask any website or blog that has listed Getting Smart in a blogroll, list, blog post or other form of link sharing to remove the link.
Getting Smart reserves its logo cluster on its website sidebar for Advocacy Partners. To learn more about an Advocacy Partnership with Getting Smart, contact Caroline@GettingSmart.com. Getting Smart is also not required to share a link on its website for sites that choose to share a link back to Getting Smart.
Guest Post Embedded Links
Getting Smart includes attribution links back to original works on all republished articles. Getting Smart also allows guest bloggers to include links back to their websites or blogs in their blog posts or author biography so long as the links are relevant to the content of the blog post, the author, Getting Smart, and its readers. Getting Smart will only accept guest blog posts with link shares that abide by the Guest Posting Policy. Getting Smart reserves the right to remove a link from any blog post or author biography without explanation.
